Life is full of bad experiences. Sharing them won’t undo them, but could make somebody else feel like they aren’t the only one with a life full of dark clouds.

Akankshi Srivastava says:

the other day I was cooking Dal and I probably didn’t put on the lid of the pressure cooker properly. When the Dal came to a boil, it started leaking from the pressure cooker but I couldn’t see. Mom had to cook another batch of Dal and I ended up cleaning the kitchen… ☹

Akankshi Srivastava says:

I live on my own. So the other day these people came for a routine  maintenance of the inverter. Everything went well. but in the end, they asked me to sign a receipt. I had to sign in a specific column. Of course, I couldn’t see where I needed to sign. Quite an embarrassing situation resulted with me pointing the pen at different portions of the receipt with the men getting frustrated as to why I couldn’t see where I needed to sign.

I didn’t want to disclose to these strangers that I’m visually impaired and live alone, so I just made an excuse that my spectacles were not functioning properly. Finally, the man signed on his own.
